“This is a song about realising the fact that love is right there in front of you and doesn’t have to be so damn complicated,” says LYDMOR on her new release…
Lydmor (which translates as ‘Sound Mother’) is a controversial musician, but the matriarch of Danish electronica. She’s notorious for never compromising in art and always challenging herself and the listener.
On 18th November she dropped The Last Call: the first new release since her latest album, Capacity last March. This is no 3-minute bop, but a song that builds from an atmospheric beginning into waves of blissful synth-euphoria “like a tide that pulls your body to the shore”, as Lydmor sings.
LYDMOR is a Danish singer-songwriter. Find her music here.
