Jada’s debut single Keep Cool was critically acclaimed. Nudes (released last year) spent eight weeks at the top of the Danish Airplay Chart. Her latest single is called I’m Back. She hopes she’s not only ‘back’ on the Danish scene, but has finally hit the global market too. Her gigs are huge, and Jada’s become a voice for the Danish youth. I’m Back speaks to the feeling of doubting, but ultimately trusting, yourself. “It’s a song that I’ve been wanting to write for a long time,” says Jada. “It was hard to describe the nuances of both getting hit by words and at the same time shaking them off. I’m Back is about getting through a process. It’s about doubting yourself and losing balance, and then finding the way back to yourself again. It’s also about how I relate to judgmental voices both from the outside world and within.”
